(TITC) - On 4 Spetember, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Cultural and Artistic Exchange Gala among member cities of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) took place in a festive atmosphere, rich in artistry and filled with solidarity.
As a highlight of the 12th TPO General Assembly, the event offered a vibrant night of art where traditional and modern cultural values blended, celebrating identity and strengthening friendship among nations.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism; Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism of Cambodia; Mr. Phyo Zaw Soe, Deputy Minister of Hotels and Tourism of Myanmar; Ms. Kang Da Eun, TPO Secretary-General; along with representatives of local authorities and TPO member cities.
The gala served as an occasion for cities to honor cultural heritage, share identities, and foster friendship through the language of art. It became a bridge of Eastern cultures in a space full of colors and emotions.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Kang Da Eun stressed that the exchange was not only a night of performances but also a platform for member cities to connect, share values, and work towards sustainable tourism. She also reviewed TPO’s 20-year achievements and called for stronger cooperation, innovation, and technology adoption in regional tourism.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung warmly welcomed delegates and guests, affirming Ho Chi Minh City’s honor in hosting the 2025 TPO General Assembly. He emphasized that the event was an opportunity to share experiences, discuss smart and green tourism, and showcase the city’s unique culture and spirit of innovation.
