(TITC) - Vietnam has once again reinforced its position as a leading travel destination in Asia, with a wide range of hotels and resorts honoured across major categories at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2025. The accolades highlight not only service excellence and luxury, but also Vietnam’s growing commitment to sustainability, wellness tourism and culturally rooted experiences.

(TITC) – On 15 December 2025, at Phu Quoc International Airport, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in coordination with the People’s Committee of An Giang Province, held a ceremony to welcome the 20 millionth international visitor to Vietnam in 2025. The event marks a historic milestone in the 65-year development of Vietnam’s tourism sector.

(TITC) - On December 6, at the Grand Finale Ceremony of the World Travel Awards 2025 held in Bahrain, Vietnam was once again honored as the World’s Leading Heritage Destination. This marks the sixth time Vietnam has received the prestigious title, following wins in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

(TITC) - According to data released by the National Statistics Office (Ministry of Finance), Vietnam received more than 19.1 million international arrivals in 11 months of 2025, up 20.9% year-on-year. This is the highest figure ever recorded, surpassing the number of 18 million visitors in 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic.

(TITC) - The Government has just issued Resolution No. 389/NQ-CP dated December 2, 2025, adding 41 border gates to the list of international border gates that allow foreigners to enter and exits Viet Nam by e-visa.
