The program "Welcoming the first group of visitors to Hoi An Ancient Town" is an event organized annually by Hoi An in recent years.

On the morning of 1 January 2025, Hoi An will also organize the program "Welcoming the first group of visitors to Hoi An Ancient Town in 2025" at the Japanese Covered Bridge area. This is an annual event of the city taking place in the Japanese Covered Bridge area. The event is also an opportunity to welcome international tourists to Hoi An right from the beginning of the year, contributing to the goal of welcoming visitors in 2025.

On this occasion, the whole city will also decorate the streets to welcome Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.
