Accordingly, the 15 km long route, with ornamental flowers displayed along district roads 34, 35 and 37, includes plants, such as red loc, cypress, bougainvillea, chrysanthemum. This area is open to visitors, free check-in.
2025 is the first time the locality organizes a flower and ornamental festival with the theme "Festival Colors" at the Cho Lach District Cultural Tourism Village, with many programs to honor the famous flower-growing village in the West and the beauty of local culture.
Cho Lach flower village is one of the two largest flower villages in the West, next to Sa Dec. From mid-October, along Highway 57 through Long Thoi and Vinh Thanh communes in Cho Lach district, farmers begin the flower season to serve the Tet holiday. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, Cho Lach flower and ornamental plant village becomes more beautiful when the flower fields compete to show their colors. It is known that this year, people in Cho Lach flower village produce about five million blooming flower products including marigolds, raspberry chrysanthemums, Dutch chrysanthemums, hanging flowers of all kinds to serve the Tet market. The agricultural sector and local authorities have guided and encouraged people to sell their products through e-commerce channels and social networks, in addition to the traditional way through traders as before. |
There are expected to be 100 booths of ornamental flowers, livestock, garden tourism, traditional craft villages and food courts at the festival. In addition to sightseeing, visitors can also experience how to make flower pots, graft seedlings, learn about the art of bonsai, and the process of producing ornamental flowers without spraying pesticides.
The festival also features the “Hoang Ke Cho Lach” cockfighting activity with the participation of hundreds of cockfighters-cock trainers and cock owners-cock owners, along with more than 150 fighting cocks from all over the country.
“The festival is the first step for local farmers to do tourism,” said Vice Chairman of Cho Lach District People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Duc. Cho Lach District has organized more than 15 training courses on tourism for farmers to combine flower and ornamental plant businesses, such as friendly communication with tourists, landscape decoration, and garden grounds. Through promotional activities, the locality hopes to develop tourism and position Cho Lach as the leading flower and ornamental plant center in the country.
