According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, this year is the first year the city organizes the Christmas Festival - Welcome New Year Da Nang 2025 with a series of unique and novel cultural, tourism, entertainment and recreation activities… The event took place from 14th December 2024 to 2nd January 2025, aiming to enhance the experience and create a special impression on people and tourists, contributing to attracting more tourists to Da Nang at the end of the year.

Many special and attractive programs and activities take place on this occasion such as: the Opening program of the Christmas Festival - New Year's Eve Da Nang 2025 (18:00 on 20 December) at the Northern landscape floor, the East bank of Dragon Bridge and the East bank of Dragon Bridge Park (land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De street); Christmas Market - New Year 2025 (17:00 - 22:30 from 20 December 2024 - 2 January 2025) at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge (Land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De Street); Entertainment and experience space (19:00 - 22:00 from 20 December 2024 - 2 January 2025) at the North landscape floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge; Art performance program (20:00 - 22:00 from 20 December 2024 - 2 January 2025) is held every night at the North landscape floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge.

Tourism businesses in collaboration with the city have also launched new and unique tourism products, such as Organizing the Christmas - New Year Festival 2025; announcing the "Da Nang Food Tour" campaign; implementing policies to attract MICE tourists, wedding tourism; continuing to promote the opening of direct international flights to Da Nang. From 15 December 2024 to 15 March 2025, the Da Nang Department of Tourism will issue more than 10,000 free culinary passports in both Vietnamese and English for tourists to experience domestic and international cuisine at 50 typical culinary locations in the city. Along with that, the Da Nang Department of Tourism has built the website www.foodtourdanang.vn as a digital culinary map to help tourists explore the city's unique culinary world with 400 reputable and quality culinary locations.

The city’s outskirts, entertainment and sightseeing spots are also decorated for the festival. Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park tourist area launched new products, such as making handmade cards - sending love messages, Santa Claus performing balloon shaping and sending surprise gifts to children, and making wishes in the new year…

At Sun World Ba Na Hills, the “Lighting the Christmas Tree” event will also take place on 24 December at the French Village. The Christmas tree at Ba Na is inspired by Santa Claus’s house in the magical land of Lapland. The moment the Christmas tree is lit is also the moment the bustling festive season begins in the magical land of Ba Na.

At Da Nang Downtown, visitors will have the opportunity to check-in with a giant 11m high noel tree decorated with thousands of sparkling lights and sparkling balls. Along with that, visitors will explore the colorful "light road"; meet Santa Claus... taking place from 21-24 December.

From 5 December 2024 to 3 January 2025, Da Nang International Passenger Terminal will organize a series of exciting activities, creating surprises and joy for passengers when coming to the city. International passengers and locals can enjoy and capture sparkling moments during the festive season with a series of impressive decorative works here.

In addition to the decoration, Terminal 2 also offers passengers a special gift - the “Ding Dong Deals” shopping series. Shops in the terminal, including Lotte Duty Free, Lucky Souvenir Shop, Vietnam's Delights... will bring special promotions, attractive discounts and gifts to passengers throughout the festive season.

Continuing the cultural and artistic experience of the “Heritage Road” program held every night in the departure area to serve passengers. From 22:00 - 23:00 on 24 December, a special Christmas music performance will take place at the Heritage Road stage area and Santa Claus will also "visit" to give gifts to passengers. Meanwhile, passengers at the arrivals terminal will be able to participate in an impressive performance by domestic and international artists from 22:00 - 23:00 on 23 December.
