(TITC) - In the context of digital transformation, the "Online - Interconnected - Multimodal" electronic ticket system is a new and different solution to support tourist attractions, museums, and relic sites to innovate ticket sales and control methods, creating convenience for all 3 parties: tourists, travel businesses, and destination management boards.

This is a product built by the Tourism Information Technology Center (Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism) based on the application of modern technology to solve the problem of managing and operating the ticket sales and control system at tourist areas and attractions. Previously, in the traditional way, tourist attractions often sold large, thick paper tickets, many places printed in colour, leading to high design and printing costs, and a large amount of torn tickets were discarded, affecting environmental sanitation. Tickets are usually purchased at the counter, staff tear tickets by hand, one ticket per person, queuing takes a long time during peak times. On the other hand, ticket sales and revenue from ticket sales are usually aggregated at the end of the day, leading to managers not having real-time data.
The "Online - Interconnected - Multimodal" electronic ticket system is completely different, expressed through the system's 3 important keywords:
“Online”: Support tourists, travel agencies, tour guides to book tickets online through the national tourism application “Vietnam Travel”;
“Interconnection”: Support tourist destinations to be able to link up to sell inter-route tickets, buy tickets once at one location and use them at many locations. Aiming to connect services: tourism, transportation, healthcare, banking, etc.
“Multimodal”: Tourists can use one of 3 different methods to use entrance tickets: Electronic tickets printed at the counter; Integrated tickets on the national tourism application “Vietnam Travel”; Integrated tickets on The Viet - National Travel Card.
In addition, with the group ticket feature, group tickets allow guests traveling in a group to use a single ticket for all members, instead of one ticket per person as in the traditional method.
This electronic ticket system with many advantages is being supported by the Tourism Information Technology Center (Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism) to be deployed at many historical and tourist sites. Among them are famous tourist destinations such as The Temple of Literature (Ha Noi), the iconic cultural relic of the thousand-year-old capital and a top destination attracting millions of tourists each year. The President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, the sacred relic containing noble human values, is the place where the great leader President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, honored by UNESCO as a World Cultural Celebrity. Quan Thanh Temple - a relic belonging to the "Thang Long Tu Tran" (four sacred temples) of the ancient capital, is the most sacred ancient temple in Hanoi, worshiping the god Huyen Thien Tran Vu. The temple was established when Emperor Ly Thai To moved the capital to Thang Long (in 1010). Vietnam National Fine Arts, is a national museum with a particularly important position, preserving and promoting the massive and valuable heritage of Vietnamese fine arts throughout history, including 9 national treasures. National Museum of History, contains the quintessence and messages of the past about a diverse and rich Vietnamese culture. Quang Ninh Museum, a famous tourist destination known as the black pearl on the shore of Ha Long Bay, is loved by many tourists. This place is considered a cultural and historical center, containing many spiritual values of Quang Ninh land…
