(TITC) - Vietnam tourism offers new travel type for slower and more sustainable tourism through the experience of traveling by luxury train along the poetic South Central region.

On 9 May 2024, The Vietage by Anantara announces the introduction of a second railway carriage, which will operate a daily return journey between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon.
On the five-hour journey, travelers will sit back the train seat and admire nature landscapes passing the window, taking the scenes like rural villages, lotus ponds, fishermen casting their nets, farmers in fields with the water buffaloes, stunning bays and striking coastline fronting the East Sea.
This is slow travel at its best – the trains hit an average speed of 51.9 kilometers per hour (32.2 mph), according to Anantara.

The Vietage carriage has a sit-up bar, restroom facilities, six private booths that seat two, each of which comes with power outlets, charging stations, free wifi and amenity baskets with pillows, blankets and other essentials.
Guests on route also get complimentary snacks, free-flow wine, cocktails, beers, mocktails, soft drinks and a selection of local tea and coffee, plus a 15-minute head and shoulder treatment.

The Vietage by Anantara operates two 12-seat reservation-only carriages on daily return railway routes between Da Nang - Quy Nhon and Nha Trang - Quy Nhon in South Central Vietnam.
The Vietage by Anantara departs from Nha Trang every afternoon arriving at Dieu Tri station in Quy Nhon in the evening. It then continues up to Da Nang arriving after midnight. Running in the opposite direction, The Vietage by Anantara’s additional carriage departs from Da Nang every morning, arriving at Dieu Tri station in Quy Nhon in the early afternoon and then onto Nha Trang for a mid-evening arrival.
