(TITC) - To serve the travel demands of people and tourists from Hue to Da Nang and vice versa, from 19 March 2024, Vietnam Railway (VNR) officially opens the sale of train tickets for the Hue-Da Nang section nationwide.
Starting from 26 March, the railway industry coordinates with the People's Committees of Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City to organise train operations on the Hue-Da Nang route and vice versa in the form of transportation business combined with tourism service exploitation. Every day, Vietnam Railway will organise 2 pairs of trains with numbers HD1/2 and HD3/4 between Hue and Da Nang with the name "Connecting Central Heritage".

In Hue, train HD1 departs at Hue Station at 7:45 a.m., arriving at Da Nang Station at 10:35 a.m.; Train HD3 departs at Hue Station at 02:25 a.m., arriving in Da Nang at 05:40 p.m.. In Da Nang, train HD2 departs from Da Nang Station at 7:50 a.m., arriving at Hue Station at 11:05 a.m.; Train HD4 departs from Da Nang Station at 3:00 p.m. and arrives at Hue Station at 5:45 p.m. On the journey, the trains will stop at Lang Co Station for 10 minutes for tourists to admire the beauty, check-in, and take photos of Lang Co Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

For now, the train will include 5 air-conditioned soft seat carriages and 1 community living carriage to serve local cultural and culinary programmes,... During the opening month, Vietnam Railway applies preferential ticket prices and discounts from 10 to 50% for passengers who are policy beneficiaries.
Putting the train into operation in the Hue-Da Nang route not only contributes to ensuring people's traffic connection between the two cities of Hue and Da Nang, the train "Connecting Central Heritage" also promises to become an interesting experience for tourists with many new, different services with regional characteristics.
