The meeting focused on cooperation in the development of cultural industries. This is the first meeting taking place between the two ministries since the two sides signed the Culture and Tourism Cooperation Plan for the period of 2023 - 2027 in October 2022.

At the meeting, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China shared many practical contents and best practices on the development of cultural industries as well as promoting the recovery of international tourists in China.

Mr. Lu Yingchuan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China proposed to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam to increase contact between the leaders of the two Ministries; base on the existing bilateral and multilateral relationships to expand the cooperation; taking the potential for culture and tourism development of each country to promote cooperation in fields, including cultural industry, tourism between China and Vietnam.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam considers the exchange and cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism between the two sides as a great importance task, noting the good results achieved in the cooperation over the past time, stated MOCST’s Deputy Minister Doan Van Viet. He also expressed a deep impression on the development of China's cultural industry, policies, measures as well as proposals on promoting cooperation in the fields of cultural industry and tourism between Vietnam and China.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam will consult and study China's experiences and practices; at the same time, effectively implement the culture and tourism cooperation plan for the period of 2023-2027 of the two countries, focusing on promoting cooperation activities in the fields of cultural industry and tourism development between the two countries.
